One of our favorite events at Capitol View Winery!  Enjoy a beautiful summer evening with great music, food and the 2019 Take Me Home,(it is the best one yet!)

Dustin was raised in a family of musicians, and some of his favorite moments growing up were the family singalongs at grandma’s house.  He first picked up the guitar at the age of 12 and soon joined his dad and uncle in those family jam sessions.  From 2011 to late 2017, he performed as lead vocalist and guitarist for a band that performed tribute shows featuring the music of John Denver, Jimmy Buffett and Johnny Cash.  As part of that group hundreds of shows in seven states across the Midwest, performing at state fairs, amphitheaters, historic opera house, wineries and more.

Today, he performs a solo acoustic show in venues throughout the region.  He often does an all-request show where the audiences gets to call out their favorite tunes from a list of nearly 200 songs.  He plays music from a wide variety of genres and artists and loves getting the audience involved in the show.  Some of the artists he performs include:  Tom Petty, Bruce Springsteen, James Taylor, Matchbox 20, Neil Young, Willie Nelson, Merle Haggard, and of course, John Denver, Johnny Cash, and Jimmy Buffett.

Things to remember:

Outside seating is a great option as we have 22 acres for you to enjoy.

We will have tables arranged to allow for 6 foot distancing, with a maximum of 8 individuals per table.   Tables cannot be moved.

We will practice two-barrel distancing (6 ft.)

No outside beverages, beverage containers or food.
