Filibuster is our featured wine in January as a toast to Les and Trish’s retirement from the world of legislative efforts!  They are excited to announce that they will no longer be spending their time in Capitol rotundas listening to endless Filibusters and will be focusing on only creating exquisite wine and memorable experiences at Capitol View Winery.

Filibuster –  Don’t let the name deceive you —- this food friendly wine is expressive and like it’s name has long smooth finish!  Made from the Marquette grape and finished with a toasted French oak, Filibuster has aromas of fresh black raspberry, boysenberry and a wisp of cherry cordial.  The palate opens with juicy black raspberry joined by Bing cherry.  The complex array of flavors lasts through the long finish.  Perfect with food or in front of a cozy fire!
