Enjoy the afternoon celebrating Mother’s Day with Capitol View wine, flowers and live music of Darryl White Trio!
Ron Cooley is an educator, composer and musician known for his work with Chip Davis and Mannheim Steamroller. He was led to his life’s work through the guitar he found of his father’s while in high school exploring his grandparents’ house. Ron has performed with many bands over his lifetime and released original music recordings of his own. Cooley has a master’s degree in period composition and music education from the University of Nebraska at Omaha. After nearly 50 years on the road, touring in vans, buses, commercial flights, and private jets, at age 71, he’s officially retired. Now, he plays where he wants, when he wants…which is quite often, actually.
Double bassist Hans Sturm has performed as soloist, chamber, orchestral, jazz and improvisational musician throughout Europe, Asia, South America, Australia, Africa and the United States. Sturm received his doctorate from Northwestern University and, prior to his appointment to the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, was Professor of Double Bass and Jazz Studies and Coordinator of the String Department at Ball State University for seventeen years, now Professor Emeritus.
We have partnered with Jennifer from Oak Grove Flower Farm to offer you a Flower and Wine bundle to be placed at your table when you arrive! Bundles will range from $45-$65 depending on the size bouquet and which bottle of wine you select.
