The Shiney’s is an Omaha based duo bringing together the musical collaberation of Tica Felise’s and Carrie Ann Buchanan’s strong harmonies – original music and beloved cover songs.

The Shineys was born in 2015 during a conversation between two old college friends regarding reclaiming music after life circumstances had dulled our shine.  They vowed to reclaim it and be “The Shineys”

The Shineys have appeared at many venues around Omaha, Lincoln & southwest Iowa.  They were nominated in the “Best Singer-Songwriter” category for the 2015-16 Omaha Arts & Entertainment Awards and performed at the ceremony alongside good friends Emily Ward & Aly Peeler.  They were nominated “Best Pop” for the 2016-17 season.
